The City is in the Approval Process Phase for the Comprehensive Plan Update

The Comprehensive Plan Update will be the subject of at least two public hearings and will need to be adopted either by Resolution or Ordinance of the City Council. The first public hearing before the City Council is scheduled for Tuesday, February 24, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Hall on the second floor in the City Council chambers.

All persons are encouraged to attend to hear a presentation on the Comprehensive Plan Update. After the presentation, citizens are encouraged to comment on the Plan.

For any person who cannot attend this or other public hearings or public meetings on the Comprehensive Plan Update, send comments to City Administrator Cathie Thomas at CathrynThomas@NewCastleCity.org. All comments will be forward to all City Council and Planning Commission members.
