The New Castle City’s Tree Commission Meeting took place on January 8, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. in the City of New Castle’s Town Hall.

The meeting was called to order at 5:55 p.m. by Chairman Patterson. A quorum was not present.
REPORT OF COMMISSION MEMBERS
Erv Thatcher – He inquired whether Vernon had taken care of the dead branches on top of the tree. Mr. Patterson said he has done everything on Chestnut Street and was confident it had been done.
Lillian Shue – Nothing to report. She did question whether the fall planting was still to take place. Mr. Patterson informed that Ms. Keyser is working with Moon Nurseries and that the planting is still going forward, weather permitting.
CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
Mr. Patterson will inform Mr. Wiggin that we did not have a quorum to address his concern with a tree raising his sidewalk and maybe working under the street as well.
