  • A lively discussion was held between the parties over the Ordinance the Tree Commission offered for adoption and the direction President of Council Castagno and Public Services Director Weldin proposed to develop a new ordinance Council may accept . The discussion ended with the understanding Mr. Weldin will develop a new Ordinance for review by the Commission.

  • The Commission agreed they could not support the application of the city to renew their designation as a Tree City USA through the state and the National Arbor Day Foundation. This was done by unanimous vote.

There being no further business before the Tree Commission, the meeting was adjourned unanimously at 6:30 PM.
